Stacy attended her first yoga class in 2004, looking for a new type of exercise. Little did she know that it would turn into so much more. She soon realized what a treasure she had stumbled upon. Not only did it help her lose weight, but it helped her create peace and balance in all areas of her life. It has been a great tool for dealing with anxiety and depression. Yoga is not just a series of movements for the physical body. It is a moving meditation that synchronizes with the breath, creating a calming experience for the body, mind and spirit. Yoga is a way of life. The 8-fold path of yoga involves much more than asana, or poses. Stacy wants to share this with anyone that is willing to give it a try. She wants to spread the philosophy that yoga is for every body and not just the flexible and thin that mainstream media portrays.
After attending the Hanuman Yoga Festival in Boulder, CO in 2014, Stacy decided to make her dream of teaching a reality. She completed her 200 hour training program in November of 2016 through Boulevard Yoga & Healing Arts.
In her spare time, Stacy enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her other passion in life is music, so she also spends a lot of time playing guitar, piano and singing.
Stacy is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
